MD. Abul Kalam Azad

Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad has more than 16 years of rich professional experiences in new Product development, Technology Transfer, Research and Innovation (R&I) Management. He obtained his MBA in MIS. Then he spent more than 10 years in an exploratory research on the new (Matrix) method of Economic Analysis. He developed the frameworks of the IIC – Innovation & Innovator Cell development under Public-Private Partnership that has been approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), Cabinet Division, Government of Bangladesh on August 09, 2017. He also developed the framework of the IPDP – Intellectual Property Development Program to support the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative of Secondary and Higher Education Division, Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh and remove the most perpetual science, technology and innovation (STI) and intellectual property (IP) business problems of Least Developing Countries (LDCs) and developing world. The IPDP was one of the remarkable innovation at SDGs in 2016.

He always loves to work with creative people, creation of new knowledge, creation of Intellectual Property (IP) and its commercialization and industrialization in Bangladesh, LDCs and other developing world. He is the Founder & Senior Partner of Centre for Policy Research, Bangladesh. In addition during this period, he was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Innovation & Innovator Cell, KUET under Secondary and Higher Education Division, Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh.
