Centre for Policy Research, Bangladesh and Khulna University of Engineering & Technology have established the IIC – Innovation & Innovator Cell at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) on March 31, 2016 through a Joint Venture & License Agreement.

The IIC – Innovation & Innovator Cell at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology is first institutional backbone in Bangladesh for developing technology transfer and innovation management of national Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) and Intellectual Property (IP) development and its commercialization, industrialization at national and international level.

The IIC – Innovation & Innovator Cell is also a cross border research and development (R&D), innovation and business development partnership platform in Bangladesh. It is one of the important technology transfer of CPR, Bangladesh, based on the framework of the Innovation & Innovator Cell (IIC) development under Public Private Partnership that has been approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), Cabinet Division, Government of Bangladesh on August 09, 2017.
